Twice-weekly operator brief
What to deploy. What it costs. What it returned. Graded.
Deploy Grade is for founders and operators who own AI budgets. Tuesday
is a teardown of one real deployment. Friday is a change report on
price, limits, and terms. We link claims. We do not sell vibes.
Tuesday · Teardown
One real deployment, graded
Each Tuesday we take apart one AI deployment: the workflow, the stack,
the cost, the payback, and the failure modes. It gets a letter grade.
The point is a decision artifact you can forward, not a recap of
product launches.
Friday · Change report
Price, limits, and terms
Each Friday we report what actually changed: model and API prices,
rate limits, deprecations, and contract or data-use terms. Scattered
changelogs, assembled as a structured brief for people who sign the
invoices.
Readers
Who it is for
Founders, operators, and budget owners at companies that have to choose
tools, justify spend, and live with the bill. If you evaluate vendors,
kill lock-in, or copy a workflow that already shipped, this is the
brief. It is not a daily AI-news digest.
Editorial stance
Receipts first
Every material claim should be sourced. Grades follow a published
rubric, not a mood. Affiliate or sponsor relationships, when they
exist, are disclosed next to the relevant mention. We do not publish
invented audience counts, quoted praise, or performance statistics.
